Bill,
No sweat. You said "lens kit", meaning whatever lenses in general one might happen to own, I assume. I took it off on a tangent because, well, because we have had over 150 posts on this thread, and every once in a while we swing back to the topic of what to buy for our DSLR.
By the way, it has come to my attention that I do not own a DSLR. Mine doesn't have a mirror. In the reflex design scheme, light travels through a single lens and a mirror is used to reflect a portion of that light through the view finder - hence the name Single Lens Reflex. No mirror, no SLR. I haven't found an acronym for a mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses.
Shall we start calling them MCIL - pronounced "Michael"? I wonder if I could trademark that and sell it to Panasonic in exchange for the contract to beta test every new camera that comes along? That would be a win-win situation.
Or maybe DMCIL - pronounced "Damsel".
