My 1DMK4 hit the floor a little over a week ago however lucked out only the 24-70mm F28. Lens and hood were damaged. The lens will be back from Canon tomorrow $450 repair covered by my insurance. That the second fall my 1DMK4 survived the first fall the attached flash saved both camera and lens. To heal your body I would suggest some of that good Marlborough White wine and for your job a visit Christchurch rental Canon 1dx $250 per day.
