Re: Can't change entire paragraphs with different italic styles (Arial)

I'm trying to explain that in all word processors there's an ability of change the Bold ON/ OFF and Italic ON/OFF in separate ways, without changing the other. Even when I'm typing this text I can do this.

I have and extender keyboard but this is the first time I found this issue in InDesign.

The font is ARIAL, one of the most used everywhere (sorry graphic designers ;-). It's installed in every OS. It have Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic. InDesign recognizes it perfectly... BUT, InDesign can't change different combinations of Bold, Bold italic, italic or Regular in the same paragraph. It only changes the FIRST style. When the style changes (into the same paragraph), the change is not applied.

It's only my case?
