Expanded Collection Sets limit (LR 5)?

Is there a limit for the number of collections sets that can be in expanded view at any one point (LR 5)?

I had 122 collection sets expanded to view subcollections and corresponding smart collections (with a total of c24000 photos in catalogue) and could not click on any collection past collection set no 103. The program wouldn't allow me to select any corresponding smart collection eventhough everything else seemed to be working ( I could collapse any collection set or select any bellow 103).
