Clip markers duplicate unwanted?

Hi!

I'm working on a documentary in Premiere Pro CC 2015. I'm using markers in my rushes to get more overview but every time I return to a clip I notice that my markers have tripled (in the same position) and sometimes the description has been wiped. Of course this is not very conducive to my desire for overview. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
